Turbocharged CVH : Cylinder Heads

Within this section I usually summarise heads into one of three categories. Stage 1 is classed as ported with std valves, stage 2 is ported with larger inlet valves, and stage 3 is ported with larger inlet and exhausts. I advise the fitment of bronze rifle guides with all 214N stainless valves as this extends guide life. If keeping with the std chrome plated valves, then the std cast iron guides are the best choice.

Guides can be cut back to the port to offer an increase in port flow, and the inlet valves can have a wasted stem at the back of the valve head again to increase flow.

As for the N/A heads, I use 5 angle valve seats blended by hand, manually lapped, with burette checked and matched combustion chamber volumes to ensure equal C.R.
