As the 350 bhp engine, the cylinder head now receives further porting to increase the diameter of both the inlet and exhaust ports. A wilder solid lifter camshaft is used and either a Garret T38 or GT30 turbo is used along with AEM Infinity engine management.
The engine now receives one of our custom inlet manifolds using a larger plenum volume and DBW electronic throttle. The limiting factor to power with this engine is the inability to reliably rev over 7300rpm.
The valve train is extremely heavy on the CVH, and as such anything over a brief 7500rpm will see rocker studs pulled from the head or cracked rockers! However, don’t let the lack of high peak numbers deceive you!
This is one brutal engine, and will easily match a 600bhp cosworth or Evo! 0 – 100mph will come up in under 9 seconds (traction permitted) and on to a top speed of 180mph! (correct gearing required)
