As the 240bhp engine, but the fitment of our Farndon H-section rods is essential. The cylinder head is now modified with larger valves and extensively ported and reshaped, the cylinder head valve seats are now replaced with larger diameter inserts as the std items move (and potentially fall out) when larger valves are fitted with std size valve seat inserts.
The camshaft is now a longer duration solid profile, the cylinder block and head are machined to accept out M12 head bolt conversion to prevent head lift at high boost.
Due to the use of aftermarket management we also add the required crankshaft/camshaft triggers and relevant sensors.
We produce this engine in various capacity formats from 1.6 – 1.9 depending upon torque delivery required. We typically use this engine with a Garrett T34 turbo.
