Our own vehicle, we began racing this car in hill climb and speed championships some 15 years ago. During that time the car has evolved into the serious machine you see today!
The engine is one of our short stroke Cosworth YB’s fitted with a specially made cam cover (by ourselves) to give a more period look. Featuring a Farndon Steel crank and rods, large port big valve head fitted with full race solid lifter cams, this engine offers 700bhp and reliable 10,000rpm operation. Controlling the engine is our AEM Infinity engine management with powerful external one coil per cylinder setup.
Transmission is a Quaife 69G 6 speed Sequential with large diameter uprated single piece prop shaft and strengthened Atlas rear axle running a ZF plated LSD.
Suspension is Pro-Flex with remote reservoirs and full adjustment of compression and rebound. Brakes are custom made with AP 4 pot calipers and rotors made to the maximum size (280mm) that will fit under 13” wheels!
All parts on the car are custom fabricated by ourselves from the 3.5” exhaust to the custom intercooler, charge cooler, Inlet manifold and all the various header and breather tanks.
An incredibly potent car, this 2wd car can accelerate to 100mph in under 6 seconds. Although not a drag car, we have run a 10.0 @ 147mph Quarter mile on treaded tyres, as well as 180mph on the standing start Km.
